Having your favorite tools at your finger tips can simplify truss design.  You can program your keyboard keypad to  access  tools like Analyze “GO”, Cantilevers, Dimensions, etc…  The only thing required to use these shortcuts is to turn off your “NUM LOCK” and press the desired key.

You can customize the shortcuts to suit your own needs by following these steps:
  • Locate and open the MI2000.INI file. This file is typically found in “c:\MiTek\Data” or “<install path>\Data\”. The file will need to be opened with Windows Notepad.
  • Find the string that starts with “KEYPAD”.
  • Using the format shown below, you can define what tool will be associated to which key.

View and/or download the complete list of commands. The list is broken down by Menu options. Using a zero (0) indicates that you do not want to map a specific key on the keypad.
