eCo Heavy Duty Cleats type H
 
eCo Heavy duty type H cleats are designed to ensure sound connections at truss and girder junctions. These cleats can be specified in a variety of different configurations to suit loads and structural arrangements. Three alternative verticals to cater for either 5, 8 or 12 bolts of 12mm diameter are available and an optional long flange plate, designed to prevent rotation of an incoming truss or girder, may also be specified. The length of the bolts can be chosen to suit the thickness of the girders and trusses to be connected.
Incoming girders or trusses must be securely strapped to the main girder with eCo Bracing Strap or punched eCo Hoop Iron.
 
The cleat is specified using a code number which is built in as follows:
H: indicates the cleat type.
F, V: indicates the flange type.
A90, A60, A45 or any angle: indicates the angle of the flange plate to the cleat. The flange will be offset 20mm from the center of the cleat unless otherwise stated.
V5, V8, V12 or none: specifies the vertical cleat.

eCo 45 Degree Heavy Duty Cleats
 
eCo 45 Degree Heavy duty cleats are designed to form a sound connection between the hip trusses, jack trusses and the main girder on a 45 degree hip system.
 
The cleats are available with the base plates for single ply (40mm thick) or bouble plyy (80mm thick) hip truss and can be specified with three verticals to cater for either 5, 8 or 12 bolts of 12mm diameter-the length of the bolt must be chosen to suit the number of plies or thickness of the girder.
 
Incoming hip trusses and jack trusses must be securely strapped to the main girder with eCo Bracing Strap or punched eCo Hoop Iron.
